Booking Process
Every journey with Maldives Holiday Escape begins with a personal conversation. When you write to us through our contact form or email, our travel designers will respond within 24 hours with a personalized itinerary proposal.
Once you're happy with your itinerary, we'll send a detailed booking confirmation with all arrangements, transfer details, and a final price breakdown. Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the initial deposit.
We handle all coordination with resorts, guesthouses, liveaboards, excursion providers, and transfer services on your behalf. You'll receive a comprehensive travel pack one week before departure with all the details you need.
Payment Terms
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required to confirm your booking. This deposit secures all reservations and is due within 7 days of receiving your booking confirmation.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days before your departure date. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), and PayPal. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:
- — 90+ days before departure: Full refund minus the 25% non-refundable deposit
- — 60-89 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost refunded
- — 30-59 days before departure: 25% of total trip cost refunded
- — Less than 30 days: No refund available
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. The date of cancellation is the date we receive your written notice.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all trips to the Maldives. Your policy should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost luggage, and trip interruption.
Given the remote nature of many Maldivian destinations, medical evacuation coverage is particularly important. We can recommend trusted insurance providers upon request.
Changes & Amendments
We'll do our best to accommodate changes to your booking. Amendments requested more than 30 days before departure are subject to availability and any price differences. A $50 administration fee applies per change.
Changes within 30 days of departure may not always be possible due to supplier policies, but we'll always explore every option on your behalf.
In the rare event that we need to make changes to your itinerary (due to supplier availability or circumstances beyond our control), we'll contact you immediately with alternative options of equal or greater value.
